Quince HQ

Quince HQ was established by Cathy Hughes – an orchardist, writer and creative, who wants to inspire wonder and curiosity, and share the magic of living in a quince-inspired world.

She grows all 16 varieties known in Australia as sustainably as possible on the family farm in a little orchard of nearly 100 trees that are all espaliered – and protected by two ducks and an occasional broody pea hen.

She is currently developing a small artisanal range of quince preserves that pay homage to the deep historical, contemporary and cultural provenance of the quince fruit.

Quince isn’t just a fruit… it’s an experience.
