Arboreal Treatment
On 29th June 2023, a termite nest was discovered at the apex of a tree and subsequently treated in one of Brisbane western suburbs, Australia. The live termite treatment procedure involved the excavation of the ground surrounding the tree, creating a trench measuring 30 cm in width and 20 cm in depth. Into this trench, a total of 30 liters of a specialized poison solution was administered. The poison consisted of a mixture containing 625 milliliters of Thermidor HE, diluted in 100 liters of water.
After a waiting period of 21 days, a follow-up inspection was conducted, which revealed that the termite nest had collapsed, leading to the termination of all termites within.
